Valued for its accuracy andreliability, the WorkNC computer-aided-manufacturing(CAM) solution will be featured March 29-30 at an open house hosted bymachine-tool distributor Braun Machinery in Grand Rapids, Mich.

The event, which will mark the introduction of Takumi machinery to the Braun Machinery product line, willinclude live machining demonstrations that highlight efficiency-boostingtechnologies. WorkNC will be exhibited in combination with fourTakumi machine tools, as well as a Hurco 5-axis mill.

 Amongthe latest enhancements to WorkNC is the addition of the Waveform machiningstrategy, which maintains a constant load on cutting tools by machining fromthe stock material towards the part geometry.
